The role
We are looking for an experienced Core Shop manager or Core Shop team leader looking for their next step up. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of managing and leading small teams. Applicants with experience operating Bianchi and Laempe machinery will be at a significant advantage. We will also consider individuals who may not have specific core shop experience but have proven Foundry management experience.
Responsibilities include
- Overseeing all core shop activities
- Allocate labour to achieve the required production targets
- Looking after a small team of employees
- Monitor and work to KPIs
- Machine operating and setting using Bianchi and Laempe machines
Ideal Candidate
- Be hands on, with a keen attention to detail
- Be an enthusiastic and charismatic individual
- Have experience of leading, mentoring and coordinating teams
- Have previous experience working within the foundry sector, ideally Core Shop
