Job Title: Contracts Manager

About the Role:
Faircloth Construction Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Contracts Manager
Faircloth Construction work with some of the UK’s largest property development investment companies. Working as a main Contractor, Faircloth Construction specialise in the design and construction of commercial, retail, industrial and leisure projects
Responsibilities and Scope:
- Managing contracts and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality through effective organisation and management
- Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients as necessary
- MUST be willing to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays
Key Skills:
- Sound Construction knowledge – broad knowledge of commercial construction
- Experience working with subcontractors
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Be able to form relationships with clients and be approachable
- Manage the commercial elements of the contract – pricing, tracking variations through to final account and project cost control
- Manage procurement of materials
- Be commercially aware
- Experience of leading and managing a team and have an understanding of working within contractual requirements
- Excellent team leader with a professional nature
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with concrete, cladding and steel erection
Desirable criteria
- Experienced Contracts Manager
- HND/HNC in building studies preferred
- Experienced in commercial and industrial sector
