Now, we’re expanding our internal team and looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team in London on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our team. If you love creating high-quality and engaging content and driving business success with it, we want you on our team! As Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content strategy based on our goals and objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead our in-house and industry membership digital channels, creating informative and engaging content, collaborating with directors, account managers, strategists and the creative team to deliver original marketing content that reaches existing clients, attracts potential new clients and promotes big group’s reputation and brand values.
Additionally, you will:
- Design content marketing strategies and set short and medium-term goals
- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets including driving awareness and leads
- Ensure a strong web presence on various client-facing and industry channels and associations
- Support Award entries with high quality content to optimise wins
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends
- Utilising a range of platforms and tools to research and define topics of interest and channel implementation
- Generate ideas to increase prospect and client engagement
- Working with the Thought Leadership team (strategy & creative) to maximise engagement from the content produced.
- Plan, produce, create and evaluate a programme of digital content to be used across all our inhouse and industry digital channels.
About you:
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Up to 5 years’ experience in digital marketing with at least 2 years in a content development role, ideally in an in-house role
- Past experience building audiences both online and offline
- Experienced at being an ‘internal journalist’ who uses source material/research to create a compelling story
- The ability to plan, research and collaborate across teams to deliver compelling, multi-channel content
- Experience in creating various types of content
- Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software
- Understanding of digital analytics and metrics and the tools to monitor, manage and evaluate such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite
- A motivated, self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Passion for creating content for creative and digital media
- Interest in marketing industry topics / new technologies /
- Ideally a degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
