About The Role:

The Content Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our content strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and engage with our audience. This role includes content creation, social media management, and measurement across various platforms.

Exciting work you will be doing:

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
  • Write compelling and high-quality content for social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
  • Work with our PR agency to focus on our topic matrix & keep up to date with key industry issues/challenges/areas of discussion.

Social Media Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals.
  • Conduct competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification.

Community Management:

  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
  • Use social listening tools to stay ahead of competitor activity & general industry updates.
  • Campaign Development and Management:
  • Design, create, and manage promotions and social ad campaigns.
  • Analyse key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

SEO and Web Traffic Metrics:

  • Manage and oversee social media content.
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign using social media metrics and analytics.
  • Improve the company’s search engine ranking by implementing SEO best practices in content creation.

Collaborations and Influencer Outreach:

  • Identify and engage with industry influencers, bloggers, and other potential partners to increase reach and visibility.
  • Negotiate collaborations and partnerships to promote content

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports on social media performance and ROI
  • Use analytics tools to track growth and success across different social media platforms

About you:

Skills Required:

  • 2 years minimum experience in social media management and content creation
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.
  • Proficiency in tools like Hootsuite, social listening tools, Google Analytics, and other
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva
  • Experience of using work management platforms like Monday
  • Basic knowledge of web development tools
  • Experience in video creation and editing
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit
  • Adaptable and open to feedback
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Qualification(s) Required:

  • Degree in Public Relations/Communications, Journalism, or a related field
