The Role:
ORCHA Health is a leading global health technology company dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of digital health solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead a consultative effort in engaging with UK health systems. This role requires a deep understanding of the UK healthcare landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving innovation in digital health.
What do you need to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of success in consultative sales or business development roles within the healthcare industry, with specific experience working with UK health systems ( NHS
- Good understanding of the UK healthcare landscape, including knowledge of NHS structures, policies, and procurement processes. 5+ Years experience preferred
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with a willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work well within a team and individually, using your initiative and autonomy
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Excellent client-facing and Internal communication skills
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to be flexible in your approach to work
- A committed work ethic, with enthusiasm to develop your skills and a drive to learn
Responsibilities:
- Engage with UK health systems, NHS trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and boards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within health systems, including clinicians, transformational change leaders, CDIOs, CMIOs, CCIOs, CNIOs, procurement professionals, and executives, with clearly documented stakeholder maps for each healthcare system.
- Promote ORCHAs solutions to effectively address the needs of UK Health Systems.
- Leverage the Health Innovation Network (HIN) and foster good relationships to understand the strategic priorities across each HIN geographically.
- Collaborate closely with ORCHA’s product and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and value proposition for UK health systems.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals, aligning with the Customer Success Team to create a seamless mobilisation for all clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and the competitive landscape within the UK healthcare market, and provide insights and recommendations to inform ORCHAs strategy.
- Accurately update reporting and monitoring systems, such as customer relationship management tools like HubSpot, to manage each stage of the sales cycle.
- Produce accurate reporting and articulate a solid understanding of performance against targets set, whilst identifying areas of continuous improvement and opportunity.
- Represent ORCHA at conferences, events, and industry forums to raise awareness and generate interest in our solutions among UK health systems.
- Play an active role in team meetings and development sessions to improve cales collateral, client case studies, and platform demonstrations.
- Leverage key products and services, such as key campaigns and digital care pathways, to positively influence ORCHAs presence in the digital health market.
- Expectation to be in the office 1-2 days per week, with remote flexibility, to attend commercial and companywide meetings.
