Job Title: Trainee Letter Fabricator / Sign Maker
Location: Blakelands, Milton Keynes
Salary: £8.50-£10.00 per hour (starting) depending on experience and attitude to work
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-5:30pm / Friday 7am-2:30pm

L C Signs fabricate signs from a wide range of materials, such as stainless steel, aluminium, pvc, acrylic, timber and vinyl – illuminated or non-illuminated using LEDs, neon or fluorescent tubes.

LC Signs is looking for new team members for its letter fabrication department. This is an exciting opportunity to learn something new – and be part of a big team.
Reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the Metal Fabrication Team, this role is ideal for someone who is good with their hands and would enjoy making things that are seen by everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the production of a variety of signage as required
- Understand different letter fixing methods
- Can understand drawings and follow job sheets
- Keeping work areas tidy and ensuring tools, equipment and materials are stored away safely and are easily accessible
The Candidate:
- Flexible and adaptable with a “can do attitude”
- Can safely use hand tools
- Willing to learn new skills
- Have patience.
- Good communication skills and a team player
- A responsible approach to time management
- Attention to detail
