Job Title: Construction Site Manager
Location: Bristol – Expected to Travel.
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
Job type: Full Time, Site Manager role will be based on various sites throughout the UK, requiring working away Monday to Fridays.
Clear Span Building are at upcoming construction company specialising in aluminium structures, cold rolled steel structures and hot rolled steel structures. We have recently been awarded a number of prestigious projects ranging from film studio workshops to sports building and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
Due to ongoing growth, Clear Span Building are currently looking for a Site Manager to work on various sites based around the UK. This role offers clear cut progression – successful candidates will be auto-enrolled into contracts manager positions that arise with time spent with the business.
Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK.
The role:
- Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the management of the full construction phase from groundworks to M&E installation and commissioning.
- You will be responsible for all health & safety on site and will be required to product risk assessments, method statements and update the construction phase plan.
- A commercial understanding is required to assist the contract manager ensuring project budget and programme is maintained.
The Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager (project value 1m – 5m)
- Construction related degree. Preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Use of Microsoft office
