Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: £30,000 – £39,000 (dependent on experience)

Job type: Full time, Permanent. Minimum 40 hours per week

At Multi Trade Plus Limited we pride ourselves on offering a full-service to our clients including design layouts, visualisations, procurement and installation with a team having over 30 years experience in the Hospitality sector. We work with High Street Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Staff Restaurants, Hotels, Schools and Bars from Back of House to Front of House Designs.

About the role:

​Due to continual growth, we are now looking to recruit a Site Manager to join our team and oversee projects based around the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience as a project supervisor or similar, although this is not essential and applicants looking to move into a more supervisor role will be considered. Applicants must be able to travel and work across a range of locations nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day on-site health and safety and ensure compliance with the Company’s health and safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Liaise with sub-contractors on a daily basis
  • Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line with programme
  • Agree and manage the overall equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site
  • Issue requests for information and respond to all queries and action accordingly
  • Manage quality assurance
  • Aid in general building and construction work as required
  • Out of hours work may be required from time-to-time
  • The majority of work will be looking after smaller sites and overseeing operations as opposed to staying on bigger sites, although this will be required from time-to-time
  • Assisting in the surveying of projects of projects when required

Skills Required:

  • Trade experience, SMSTS or construction related degree
  • Required to manage the health and safety and quality assurance on-site as well as the team
  • Good time management skills are essential
  • Communication skills essential with colleagues and clients
  • Full UK driving license
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Valid Right to work code
