Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager

Location: London

Salary: £55k – £75k (DOE)

Job Type: Full Time, (Mon-Fri)

The Role:

SJB Contracting Ltd are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee several projects running concurrently, from tender to post completion in and around London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager with a background in managing multiple sites.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Site management experience working on joinery projects. Carpentry experience essential.
  • Ability to understand detailed site drawings and relay this information to the carpentry team.
  • Supervision/Management of the workforce on site to achieve the highest level of productivity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Planning and co-ordination of direct labour as well as the management and ensuring that programme is on time and on budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Site Construction Team, attending all sites weekly and acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers.
  • Develop a close working relationship with all site personnel to foster a good team spirit.
  • Set an example of loyalty, enthusiasm, and hard work in the performance of all your duties.
  • The Company employ rigorous quality control, quality assurance, health and safety, welfare, and environmental procedures on all projects and as such you must familiarise yourself with our systems and procedures and be available to attend training and inductions courses as required.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Carpentry experience/knowledge essential.
  • Full driving licence.
  • CSCS accreditation.
  • SMSTS.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
