The role:
Working in the Lowestoft and Northern Parishes Community Partnership area, you will enable the team to identify, prioritise, plan, develop and implement projects that address local needs, including the three Community Partnership priorities of Social Isolation and Loneliness, Mental Health and Wellbeing and Childhood Obesity.
You will spend around half of your time supporting our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) reduction work, including processing ASB complaints, using the relevant legislation to implement appropriate tools and powers to address the behaviour, and supporting the victims of ASB.
You will also support capacity building activities, community engagement, community conversations and consultation events, and support funding bids to maximise external funding opportunities.
About you:
You should have relevant experience at officer level in asset-based community development (ABCD), community safety, ASB and/or community health and wellbeing in the public, private or voluntary sectors, as well as experience of working with partners across sectors to deliver shared goals, better services and improved outcomes for our communities.
