We are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commissioner & Projects Managers to be part of this dynamic team.
About the role:
The Commissioner & Projects Manager leads on discussions and negotiations with providers to establish a collaborative ‘partnership’ approach, whilst developing performance measures which encourage the right behaviours, values and ethics we pride ourselves on as a Council.
Taking responsibility for delivering projects linked to efficiency savings, managing stakeholders and supporting commissioning exercises all guided towards the development and implementation of wider service strategies.
Working with senior managers, the post-holder will ensure the necessary procurement and contractual arrangements are in place, which includes identification of specifications, negotiations, market development and the effective management of provider relationships.
About you:
To succeed within this role, you will have a strong focus on delivering best outcomes for adults, children, young people and families. With prior experience of commissioning and contract/ supplier management, you will have proven examples of stakeholder management, establishing quality standards and project development.
A key part of this role will be to apply project management methodology, being able to write concise, thought through documents in response to mandates for work. These include items such as business cases, stakeholder analysis, and communication plans.
