The Role:
We are currently looking for a Commercial Officer to join our proactive and committed Commercial Team, on a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential for this to be extended or made permanent.
The purpose of the role is to develop and strengthen supplier relationships through effective insight and analysis, to help maximise potential opportunities to improve efficiencies and identify cost savings. There will also be general administrative responsibility for supporting the functioning of the Commercial team, including maintaining supplier and contractual databases, ensuring commercial processes are followed and maintained.

As the Commercial Officer your duties would include:
- Working directly with business owners to manage suppliers and independently carry out supplier visits
- Identify business risk associated with working with suppliers and escalating appropriately
- Supporting and contributing to the regular review of supplier contracts and audits
- Manage the centralisation of contracts and associated documents
- Maintain up to date supplier contacts list and on-boarding processes
- Maintain and regularly review Modern Slavery risks associated with our suppliers
- Support development of new policies, processes and procedures and ongoing maintenance of them
- Manage general correspondence that come through to the Commercial Team via methods such as e-mail requests and notifications
- Arrange, organise and minute supplier meetings
- General administrative support across the Commercial function
About you:
- Experience of general management including administrative duties
- Some experience of analysing business information to help support business decisions
- Ability to work accurately and systematically, demonstrating attention to detail
- Able to network and positively promote the work of Migrant Help
