Job Title: Commercial Manager – Sales

Salary: £34,000-£40,000

The Role:

HAYNE is currently recruiting a Commercial Manager to join our high performing sales and marketing team. As well as ongoing personal development and support, this role comes with a basic salary of £34,000 to £40,000 plus pension, healthcare, 27 days holiday (+ bank holidays), free onsite parking and other benefits. HAYNE Solutions is based in Stratford upon Avon, your time will be spent working from home and office (when safe to do so).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Working directly with the sales pursuit team to create outline pricing for all opportunities including software, consultancy and cloud hosting
  • Maintain price lists, latest versions from vendors
  • Request pricing from vendors and liaise with HAYNE Cloud team for cloud pricing
  • Reviewing vendor quotes to ensure HAYNE margin, quantities and valid dates are correct
  • Create sales quotes in Sage Line 50
  • Own the governance of all legal contracts and documentation including the issue of said documents directly to customers and prospective customers through Adobe Sign, managing versions, filing signed contracts in SharePoint and in CRM
  • Own the contracts register in CRM ensuring it is always up to date
  • Registering opportunities with all vendors and claiming incentives based on sales value
  • Liaise with incentives management company to resolve issues and queries and submit supporting documentation for each opportunity as required
  • Raise all software and incentive claim invoices at an appropriate time
  • Complete sales and marketing month end process including running reports and completing commission calculations
  • Liaise with our Business Systems Analyst on the continuous improvement our MS Dynamics CRM
  • Manage one direct report, Sales Systems Co-ordinator
  • Supporting ad-hoc projects

The Candidate:

  • Experienced Commercial, Sales Support, Contracts or Office Manager used to working in a software, technical or professional services environment
  • Used to reviewing legal documents and contracts with some understanding of legal terminology
  • Comfortable to join customer facing calls as required alongside sales colleagues and C Suite execs
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and retain information
  • Professional and reliable, with a calm and helpful manner. Efficient and accurate under pressure
  • Excellent co-ordination and organisational skills, able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent systems skills including MS Excel and Word and CRM systems such as MS Dynamics or SalesForce
  • It is essential that you can demonstrate transferable skills and examples of relevant experience as this role is often referred to as the glue that holds the end-to-end sales process together!
  • Motivated, driven, and proactive with excellent written and spoken communication skills are a minimum requirement for this role.
