Job Overview:
Reporting to the Commercial Director the role would be to operate as a company leader, overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term strategy of the Branded Division’s business.
This role will play an important role in maximising business opportunities whilst continuing to manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts and leading the Branded Sales Team’s activities and communication. This role would work closely with Supply Chain, Production and Procurement to advance service levels and the overall customer experience. As a key leadership role, the Commercial Manager would be expected to assist in developing and implementing the Branded Division’s commercial strategy along with other matters relating to S&B Herba’s overall business operational effectiveness.
The Role:
We are looking for an energetic, results driven Commercial Manager with at least 5 years’ experience and a proven track record. The role entails helping us build our branded business in both the traditional retail and wholesale markets but more importantly the ethnic wholesale market.
The role involves the following:
- Leading and Developing Existing Sales Team to continue growing our Branded Business within Wholesale and Independent Retail sector.
- Continue to drive sales of the Ebro Group’s full portfolio of Branded and Private Label products to designated account portfolio.
- Continually look for opportunities in all areas to grow the business profitably.
- Oversee and drive the marketing strategy for the branded sector
- Assist Commercial Director and work as a key member of a cohesive team.
- Work closely with cross functional Operational Teams.
- Coach colleagues/employees on best practice for managing customers and handling daily issues and tasks.
- Analyse sales data and other reports that give insight into how S&B Herba can adjust and improve performance.
- Accept extra duties as situations arise and the role develops.
- Work efficiently and calmly to tight deadlines and support the wider team
About you:
- Business Graduate with extensive sales and account management experience.
- Demonstratable Marketing Experience and/or Marketing qualification
- Considerable experience working cross functionally with proven experience in improving overall business
- Strong leadership & communication skills to guide and motivate the team.
- Excellent organisational skills to balance and prioritise their workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and customer service skills to grow a company’s client base.
- Strong strategic and negotiation skills to make sound commercial decisions.
- Commercially savvy with a good understanding of profitability drivers & excellent attention to detail
- Great People Management skills to motivate and develop the Team of Account Managers
