We are a small vibrant team of brokers based in the picturesque Stanley Park, Blackpool. Our clients are based across the UK, but with a heavy focus on Blackpool and the Fylde coast. We operate in a huge variety of industries and offer a wide range insurance product which cover anything from houses and hotels to stadiums and multinational companies.
About the role:
Central Insurance Services are looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team during a period of sustained growth. We are looking for someone with the drive to offer excellent client care on both a book of renewals that will be provided to you, but also working to win new business from a variety of lead sources. Your communication skills will be top-notch, in person, on the phone and in writing.
By partnering our clients, you will understand their business, and from that ensure that they are appropriately covered to manage the risks they face and you’ll capitalise on the opportunity to cross sell new products when appropriate. You will also provide policy documentation and handle claims in a compliant manner. There’s a lot to learn, however we are friendly bunch, and work together in one office, so you will be supported every step of the way as you get up to speed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years commercial insurance broking experience, ideally working with SMEs and high net worth individuals
- Prior experience of using Acturis
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office
- Can demonstrate excellent results and customer service
- A confident person who can express themselves clearly when dealing with clients and fellow brokers
- The ability to be able to multi-task whilst ensuring your quality of work is maintained to a high standard
- The ability to absorb and retain information about our products, procedures and systems
- A team player who understands the need to get on with others at all levels in a professional environment
- The drive for personal development and training with the opportunity to study for industry qualifications
- Full Driving License
- You must have the right to work in the UK
