Salary: £45,000 depending on experience

Envar is a producer and supplier of high-quality soil improver, woodland garden mulch, wood chip and biomass. We operate green waste composting sites across England with sites in Surrey, Northamptonshire and West London as well as our flagship site in Cambridgeshire where we also process food waste. In addition to composting Envar also recycle coffee grounds.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Coordinator with Envar Composting
Your role is to be a part of the commercial team, working together with the Head of Commercial, coordinating input materials to maintain business profitability through managing tonnages and maximising gate fee into our facilities.
You will be involved in the liaison with existing customers to ensure that contractual requirements are met such as the supply of KPI information, social value training etc.
The first 6 months of employment will involve spending 3 months in the Operations Department followed by 3 months in the Compliance Department which will be key to gaining knowledge and experience for the Commercial Coordinator role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a forecast of customers according to site capacity and forward planning for inputs in future years.
- Liaise with current customers, maintaining dialogue throughout contracts, ensure reporting and any social value requirements are maintained as per contractual terms.
- Helping to acquire new feedstocks and contract tendering.
- Site visits and tours.
- Working as part of a team to achieve best outcomes.
- Working to a set of KPI’s and keeping within budget.
- Uphold Health, Safety and Environmental aspects across the company and third-party suppliers.
- Seek out and assess new opportunities and innovation to further enhance the Envar Business.
- Aid in the marketing function within the business, ensuring alignment with other group companies.
- Maintain a positive outlook and attitude about the organisation and its goals.
- Attend customer meetings across the country
