Job Title: CNC Setter/Operator – Sliding Head Machines
Location: Oldbury, West Midlands
Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 Per Hour.

The Role:
Due to expansion of the business, we are looking for a CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operative to join our established team in the manufacturing of bespoke fasteners and precision components.
Key responsibilities of the role
As CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator you will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating of Citizen and Emimec Sliding Head lathes including working with MDI commands.
- Changing of tips, tools, drills and inserts into CNC sliding head machines to manufacture metal components.
- Operating of manual lathes.
- Measuring parts to engineering drawings using tools such as Venier Calipers, micrometers and ring gauges.
- Using shadowgraphs.
- General tidying and cleaning of manufacturing area.
The successful candidate
- The ideal candidate must have experience in operating CNC sliding head machines and demonstrate a high level of understanding technical, engineering drawings. All our work is bespoke, each job is different so a high level of manufacturing knowledge is essential.

- Hours – 7am-4pm Mon to Friday.
- 34 days annual leave.
- Overtime rates apply.
