Job Title: CNC Programmer / Operator

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum DOE

We are in search of a talented CNC Programmer/Operator to strengthen our dedicated team. Candidates with experience in any of the following control systems – Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, Haas, or Siemens – are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cell
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Expertly program, set-up, and operate CNC machines using one or more of the specified control systems.
- Choose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining job.
- Vigilantly monitor the CNC machines to guarantee consistent quality in production runs.
- Conduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, aiming for continuous process improvement.
- Adhere to the highest safety standards and protocols.
- Diagnose and resolve any challenges encountered during the production process.
- Stay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold our industry-leading standards.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
- Ability to program one of the following – Haas, Heidnehain, Mazak, Fanuc or Siemens
- 5+ Years experience working within CNC Programming
- Highest standards of H&S and Quality is essential
- Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
- Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
- A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
- A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team
Shifts + Pay Rates
Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm – Rates up to £16 p/h
Night Shift – Monday to Thursday 20:45pm – 6:00am – Rates up to £22.50 p/h
