Job Title: CNC Operator – Printing Industry
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £11.00 – £13.50 per hour
Job type: Full time, five days a week and working three rotating shifts (see below)

The role:
Following our ongoing expansion and a move to a new factory, our sales are growing fast and we are now looking to increase the cad cutting team to be able to keep up with the increased workloads we are experiencing following several new client wins.
This role is very important as this team are given the job of converting the designs and finished print into cut parts for our assembly team to build into our clients display stands ready for us to send out to the shops to help sell more products for our customers.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ experience on a Kongsberg or Zund table however if you have CNC table operators experience or other similar machinery then we would also consider that, this role would suit someone that is physically fit and that wants to progress in their career within a company that already has a strong industry presence and a desire to grow and become even more successful.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible, after training if needed, for setting up all the jobs and making sure they are cut accurately. The role will consist primarily of setting the machine up including loading the correct tools, loading the machine with materials, and then operating the machines to cut the materials. Our machines cut, score and crease cardboard.
You will need to be diligent and attentive as things can go wrong and you will need to be quick to spot any mistakes as not to do so can quickly cost the company and if parts are not cut accurately, they will need to be reprinted and that takes too much time and costs money.
Shift Pattern:
This job is a full time contract, it is five days a week and we work three rotating shifts which are as follows.
Shift 1 is 6.00am – 2.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am – 6.00pm on Fridays. (41.5 hours)
Shift 2 is 2.00pm -11.00pm Monday to Thursday only (34 hours)
The shifts rotate weekly, overtime is available and we pay time and a quarter for the first ten hours and then time and a half thereafter.
