Job type: Full Time – Permanent. 38 hours per week. Additional overtime maybe required Monday to Friday and or Saturday mornings were required. There is some flexibility around the core start and finish times with an early finish on Fridays. The company offers 25 days holiday and overtime at competitive rates.
Currock Engineering Ltd is an established Precision Engineering company based in Chelmsford, Essex. Numerous CNC milling machines 3, 4, 5 & 6 axis machines 3 new pallet machines and 2 new 6 axis machines due June 2022. There are 46 machining centres on the shop floor all using Heidenhain controls apart from two machines using Fanuc controls. All work is carried out to a very high standard meeting AS9100. We have an experienced team who will assist any new starter.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced CNC miller who can program on the machine when required. We currently have a range of CNC mills DMG, YMT, Bridgeport and one horizontal Mazak.
Working at our Chelmsford factory you will be responsible for manufacturing operations through the CNC mills. Reporting to the Team Leader within the required section, you will be required to manage all aspects of the production requirements to fulfil right first time and meet are planning requirements. This role is ideally suited to an experienced individual looking for a change working with a small team to achieve the customer delivery requirements.
The team is small and friendly. The right candidate will be honest, reliable, and able to work well under pressure at times.
