Job Title: CNC Machinist – Joinery
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £13.65 basic rate / £17.70 O/T
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: 8am – 4.30pm (40 hrs per week with additional overtime crucial to the needs of the business)
The Company:
At ESM we manage the design and build of exhibition spaces to create an engaging and memorable stand for our clients and their brand. All work is undertaken in house at our Kent headquarters by our experienced team who have been working on exhibition stands and trade fairs for a number of years, bringing both expertise and the latest trends to every project.
The Position:
We require an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team – we set out all our projects in Solidworks which are then broken into cutting sheets for production. Your role will be to take these sheets and information and programme them into your production schedule to produce the components for our joiners to fabricate from whilst managing waste and maximising efficiency.
The Candidate:
You should be organised, efficient, and methodical with experience in machining timber and MDF. A working knowledge of joinery shop production would be an advantage
The role does involve an element of physical exertion in manipulating sheets onto the bed of the machine from the storage rack, therefore the ideal candidate should be used to some degree of manual labour also.
