Job Title: CNC Flatbed Laser Setter/Operator
Location: Coventry (travel to other sites may be required)
Salary: £10.22 per hour + £0.75 per hour shift allowance
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours of Work: 6am-2pm Monday – Friday
The Company, established for over 35 years and now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning engineering, fabrication and machining companies, requires an experienced and gifted CNC Flatbed Laser Setter/Operator to joint their team at the Coventry site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable CNC Flatbed Laser Setter/Operator, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate the CNC flatbed laser cutting machines
- Perform tasks as directed by the Line Manager.
- Operate the CNC flatbed laser cutting machine with an operating automated system, and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Distinguish Material types including Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel
- Load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Lift raw materials, final products and items packed for shipment manually or using hoist.
- Ensure adherence to agreed processes at all time.
- Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

- Have a positive “Can Do” attitude and willingness to complete other work in the work shop from time to time as and when needed.
