Job Title: CNC Horizontal Borer

Oldham Engineering Limited is a well-established medium sized engineering business with a long history and exciting plans for business growth.
We are looking to strengthen our team and appoint a CNC Horizontal Borer at our manufacturing site in Oldham.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling / turning machines.
- Produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished parts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
About You:
- Experienced and skilled CNC Horizontal Borer with a time served apprenticeship.
- Good understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with metals, materials and machining techniques.
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
- Experience of contributing to process improvements preferred.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Experience working within the regulations controlling Health and Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling and environmental control.
