We are looking for a Clinic Assistant to join the team at our Gloucester service, to help us continue to deliver outstanding clinical care for our patients. The Role:
In this patient facing role you’ll be:
- Performing basic clinical tests and supporting the clinical assessment of each patient.
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, including making sure that appointments are booked and that clinics are full.
- Provide exceptional customer service and have a friendly and approachable manner.
From an administration point of view, you’ll be:
- Managing patient data and updating electronic records.
- Produce and send letters to patients and liaise with NHS Trusts to retrieve patient records if required.
- Have a keen attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good telephone manner.
Skills and Experience:
- Enjoys working with a range of people and is able to tailor their approach to a diversity of patient and colleagues needs.
- Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the clinic on a day-to-day basis.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Committed to delivery of consistently high standards of testing and administration.
- Enjoys the routine and rhythm of a process driven environment.
- A good level of general education or with equivalent experience.
- Proven customer service skills with a passion for customer care.
- Fully computer literate – comfortable with the Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new patient record systems.
- No experience required as full clinical training will be provided. It is expected that the company’s growth plans will provide ongoing challenges for the post-holders as well as appropriate career development opportunities.
