Job Title: Class 1 Driver
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon
Salary: Competitive + generous overnight allowances (sleeping in the cab)

Hours: 40-45 hours per week over 4-5 days, working away from home and travelling to Europe each week with overnight stays required
The Company is based in Milton Park, Abingdon and is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver with European Driving Experience to join their team. The company prides itself on high quality service delivery; providing comprehensive and customised logistics solutions at all stages of the supply chain and are looking for candidates who are able to meet the same high standards.
An experienced driver is required with experience of driving in Europe to depart UK Head Office in Milton Park usually on Monday of each week before travelling to a number of European destinations on a set route, making a small number of deliveries and collections at each location for the following two days, returning to base late Friday afternoon or early evening.
You will be collecting and helping to load the vehicle at the warehouse in Milton Park and driving to Europe delivering items to various locations along a set route before making the return journey and collecting goods for transportation back to the warehouse.
You are responsible for safe loading and strapping of the vehicle. There may also be a requirement to assist with loading and unloading plus other driving duties from time to time in order to meet the needs of the business and legislative requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Clean C+E licence, up to date driver CPC and digital tachograph
- Significant European driving experience
- Good command of the English language
- Must live within 45 minutes of Milton Park, Oxon
- Flexibility regarding working hours
Desirable:
- Wagon and drag experience (A frame) (training may be given for the right applicant)
