Job Title: Commercial Claims Technician
Location: West Malling, Kent
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum
Position: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:
They are looking for a Commercial Claims Technician to join their desktop operation based at the Company’s head office in West Malling, Kent.
About you:
The ideal candidate will come from either a loss adjusting or insurance background. They will be a fast learner with experience of managing material damage property claims effectively and will be able to demonstrate a track record of providing excellent customer service.
You will have / will be:
- A strong technical capability and attention to detail, able to apply differing policy wordings and coverage
- Ability to manage quantum proactively to achieve the best outcomes for policyholders and insurers
- Customer focus with a track record of delivering outstanding levels of service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against KPIs
- Experience working in a Third-Party Administrator environment would be an advantage
- Experience in liability property claims would also be useful though not essential
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of claims, seeking assistance as necessary
- Excellent organisational & communications skills
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems
- Ability to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently
