Job Title: Centre Administrator
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £22,000 Per annum (FTE)
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time
Working Hours: 2 Days Per Week (15 Hours)

Job Outline & Purpose
- To maintain effective reception/administration systems to support the business
- To support the Performance Manager, ensuring the smooth running of the centre
- To communicate effectively with colleagues and the CSS Administration Team
- To safeguard the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values
General Reception Duties
- To greet & direct customers/students by telephone and face to face
- To maintain visitors/staff records for fire safety reasons
- To maintain excellent levels of customer service to both internal & external customers
Administration
- To maintain comprehensive and accurate databases and other systems (ACCESS, PICsWeb etc)
- To process student’s bursary payments accurately & in a timely manner
- To register students for appropriate qualifications with awarding bodies (C&G, Highfield etc)
- To maintain accurate records of student referrals, starts & leavers, completing appropriate paperwork to support the centre staff & CSS Admin team
- To maintain/order stationery and centre supplies
- To maintain petty cash, keeping accurate records of expenditure
- To maintain centre equipment (photocopier, printers etc) and report faults in a timely manner
- To collect/send internal & external post
- To retrieve general enquiry emails and forward to the correct member of staff
- To carry out general duties to ensure the smooth running of the centre
About you:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 2 Business Admin
- IT qual ECDL or similar
- Experience of dealing with Reception/Admin duties
- Experience of dealing with the public
- Experience of Education/Training

- Sound grasp of own literacy, numeracy & IT
- Excellent communicator
