Job Title: Automotive CCTV Engineer
Location: London – Enfield
Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience) & KPI dependent quarterly bonus
Job Type: Mon – Fri 21.00/21.30 – 06.00 (30/60 min break)

The role:
Primarily installing and servicing external CCTV equipment and devices purchased through Traffilog, as well as Traffilog bespoke equipment, into our customer’s vehicles. The post holder will be reporting to the Head of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Maintain stock levels, update customer/vehicle details and liaise with customers on a daily basis
- Manage, adhere and review standards and procedures within the team so as to ensure the procedures are met and improved
- Auditing of installations for continuous safety improvement, to enhance competitive advantage and to promote operational efficiency
- Keep up to date with developments in engineering and CCTV technology and awareness of health and safety procedures at all sites
- Dealing with client queries face to face and over the phone
- Review daily priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved through scheduled workloads and on-site customer requirements
- Providing regular reports to the Head Of Engineering and configuration communications with the Technical Support team
- Compliance and documentation adherence to the ISO 9001/27001/14001 & GDPR requirements
- To ensure personal appearance and vehicle maintenance reflects company guidelines
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience working with automotive CCTV systems for a minimum of 3 years is required
- Automotive/electrical/telematics installation experience is preferred
Competencies:
- Effective team management skills
- Flexibility to adapt and promote change and ability to learn new skills, concepts and processes
- Excellent communications experience including written, face to face and be confident presenting to people all of audiences across business functions
- Experience creating, managing and improving business processes
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of automotive CCTV systems including experience of installing, servicing and configuring these systems
- Effective time management skills – able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and plan in the face of conflicting demands
- Full British driving licence
- An advanced level of education with a full comprehension of the English spoken language
