Salary: Salary £22,675 – £25,380 per annum dependent on experience.

We are recruiting Case Workers to join our small team in our new integrated housing support service.
About the role
Supporting people with a history of, or who are at risk of rough sleeping, you will help your clients to make positive steps towards maintaining settled accommodation and achieve an improved quality of life.
Providing trauma informed, strength-based support and recognising the uniqueness of their individual circumstances, you will encourage them to aspire to make positive changes to their lives, accessing appropriate services that supports recovery and on-going independence, such as benefits, tenancy rights, accessing suitable accommodation, mental health, medical, and substance misuse.
You will empower your clients to develop practical life skills, such as budgeting, paying bills, and build resilience. In addition, you will connect and build appropriate networks within the local community, with landlords, and, where possible, re-establish and reconnect with family and friends.
Due to the nature of this role, a drivers licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team in Milton Keynes, to support people within our new integrated housing support service.
About you
You will have demonstrable experience using trauma informed practice whilst working with people with complex needs, either in mental health, substance misuse or something similar. In addition, you will need to have a good level of knowledge on housing and benefits.
You have the ability to support people to access and navigate support services. You also understand the importance of researching and seeking information about local community resources, and the value of building connections with other agencies, ensuring the best support for your clients.
Ideally, you will have used Microsoft Office and Outlook and have some experience of recording and maintaining information. Your natural ability to connect with people, and your excellent listening skills allow you to approach difficult situations with a patient, calm approach. You have a strong resilience to not give up and can work creatively to find solutions.
