Job Title: Caretaker

Salary: £18,600 – £19,500 per annum
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:30 – with no weekend work but flexibility needed to work around a summer / winter rota that levels out to 40 hours per week.
The Encore Property Management Group specialises in the ongoing management of large residential developments, including the effective administration of +£20m of client service charge budgets.
Based in Cambridge and with offices in London, Sandhurst and Nottingham, we work across East Anglia, London, the Home Counties, the South and East Midlands, and have plans for further growth.
The Group also consists of separate Facilities Management and Legal businesses, employing over 200 people. They pride themselves on a commitment to excellence and customer service.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced caretaker who is prepared to go above and beyond, takes pride in their work and enjoys working with people.
You will be working across multiple prestigious sites in the Cambridge area and we need someone who is wanting to become a part of the community.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Grass cutting
- Regular weeding of beds (which will include weed killing)
- Seasonal pruning and deadheading
- Undertaking general caretaking duties
- Cleaning on site
- General maintenance (changing lamps)
- Carrying out of Planned Maintenance activities, light switch checks, etc.
- Litter picking and leaf removal
- Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems (Training Provided)
You will be provided with an Encore van to travel between sites and will be offered training to develop your skills further.
