Job Title: Carer / Care Giver

Salary: £12 per hour on Weekdays (enhanced on weekends and bank holidays)

Elite Live In Care focus on working with our clients and their families to create a tailored care package that meets their or their loved one’s needs in the comfort of their own home.
The Role:
We are urgently seeking care givers to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with a small number of clients and will benefit from a fixed rota. We are looking for people who are looking for a part time role, approx. 16 hours per week. Our live in carers require daily breaks of 2 hours, this position is to cover these breaks, allowing live in carers well deserved rest time, and providing support for client’s who cannot remain at home on their own.
- Shifts between 9.30am and 3pm daily.
- Shifts of 2 hour blocks each time.
Elite Livein Care will provide full training when you join us as well as ongoing supervision provided by our Field Care Supervisors. If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance with a PEG), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Providing companionship to your client during the 2 hours sit
- You may be required to prepare food and drinks
- You may be required to help feed your client
- You may be required to assist with giving medications
- You may be required to support with toileting needs
- You may be required to support with personal care
- You may be asked to take your client out, for example, to an appointment, or for a coffee, to visit a garden centre etc
The Candidate:
- Minimum 1 year’s care experience
- You must have received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccination.
- Access to your own car and full driving licence
