Horizon Care Southwest Ltd is a family based domiciliary care company. Horizon Care was established in 2009. We are a Home Care provider delivering a service commissioned by Devon County Council and NHS Devon CCG.
We are looking to recruit Health Care Assistants for both our branches in Exeter and Newton Abbot.
As a Health Care Assistant your role and duties will be: Carrying out personal and domestic care for clients; including washing/showering, assisting to dress, catheter care, and moving and handling. Preparing and serving hot and cold food at mealtimes, in some cases assisting to feed. Administering medication from blister packs and applying prescribed creams. Attending to any light household chores such as dishes, laundry and bed changing. Enabling clients to live independently and remain safe in their own homes as they wish.

Driving Licence is highly recommended but not essential. Reliable car required to those who have a licence. A driving licence is required for school hours.
Hours:
7am-2pm
8am-2pm – Drivers and Weekdays Only
9am-2pm – Drivers and Weekdays Only
4pm-10pm
The Rota is managed Monday to Sunday, weekend work is required. Permanent Contract Min 20 hours per week.
Rates of Pay:
Starting rate of £11ph
Candidates who hold a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care £11.25
Candidates who hold a Level 3 in Heath & Social Care £11.75
Extra £1ph for Drivers for fuel expenses
