Job Title: Service Call Out Engineer

Liftec is a successful privately owned independent lift company providing maintenance and modernisation solutions to a variety of customers. We are currently looking for an experienced Service Call Out Engineer to cover ourr Milton Keynes / Watford Route
About the role:
Liftec Southern Branch Office is currently looking for NVQ3 qualified engineers with experience in first fix breakdown response and with Enhanced DBS checks to access Schools and hospitals to cover the following routes.
Milton Keynes / Watford / Oxford / Aylesbury / High Wycombe
There will be CQC registered carehomes and NHS Hospitals on the route, so you will be expected to have received double Covid vaccinations and will need to produce the NHS Covid Pass or if exempt, your NHS exemption certificate when asked.
You will ensure that lift breakdowns are responded to and services are carried out efficiently on various sites on your assigned route whilst providing a high quality of customer service. Attend all breakdowns within contractual time frames, ensuring that all maintenance is carried out in a professional, competent and timely manner under Liftec’s contractual obligations towards clients. To take responsibility for any paired mate to instruct on a technical level, maintain and impart Health & Safety best practices in line with Liftec’s policies and procedures.
About you:
- You will have NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent and the ability to follow lift manuals and diagrams, with a good knowledge of third party equipment
- Have excellent trouble shooting skills and a minimum of five years’ experience on servicing and call out
- DBS checked or the agreement to carry out such check
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people and use own initiative
- Flexible and adaptable approach towards work
Technical know how:
- Demonstrate fault finding skills and knowledge of various types of lift equipment
- Provide completed repairs on breakdowns with a minimum number of call backs
- Follow lift manuals and diagrams accurately when necessary
- Adhere to quality assurance, health and safety and environmental standards
- Complete service, repair and breakdown reports accurately when required
Essential requirements:
- Provide evidence of NVQ3 or equivalent in Lift Engineering (such as J modules)
- Clean and valid UK driving license
- Meet the Right to work in the UK requirements
