Job Title: CAD Technician – Traffic Management
Location: Salford
Salary: Up to £33,000+ benefits
Job type: Full Time Permanent
Hours of Work: You will be required to work 40 hours from 7am to 4pm though some flexibility may be required on occasion to meet the needs of the business.

The role:
Due to internal progression, we now have a new and exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician. Reporting to the Traffic Management Manager, you will produce Traffic Management drawings and associated drawings in CAD format. You will also complete TTL (Temporary Traffic Light) and TTRO (Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) applications for local authorities.
Skills and Experience Required:
- In possession of a current valid driving license
- Traffic Management background is desirable
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality
- Team worker as well as the ability to work on own
- Working knowledge of Code10 software
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft programmes

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- To produce high quality CAD drawings including traffic management plans on AutoCAD in conjunction with third party software such as Cone10 & Autotrack.
- Understand and produce utility drawings.
- Take responsibility for drawing issues and daily housekeeping in terms of both digital and hard copy project file storage.
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of drawing work to agreed project programmes.
- Assist in developing systems and procedures to ensure that the CAD system is used effectively.
- To arrange for resources and programming of future works
- To always promote safe working process
- Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required.
