At an exciting time in the Company’s 100-year history we’re currently recruiting for an experienced Business Systems Manager to work across the Thomas Dudley Group, reporting directly to the Innovation Director.
The purpose of this role is to manage, deploy and analyse business technology projects across the group. You will ensure that the projects you deliver have considerable and measurable cost benefits to the business.
The successful role holder will have extensive knowledge of ERP in a manufacturing environment with experience of large ERP implementation over a multi-BU organisation.

Your bit…
- Deliver and implement ERP projects across the organisation in order to support business growth and profit
- Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
- Conduct market research to outline new system solutions that will improve current and future business capability.
- Attend team and stakeholder meetings, providing reports as and when required
- Work with heads of departments and division to implement relevant regulatory and legislative changes in a timely fashion
- Plan and oversee the release of upgrades and enhancements to systems.
- Take responsibility for the core business systems, including administration, maintenance and development.
- Develop excellent working relationships with all departments within the business.
- Comply and uphold the businesses policies and procedures, such as health and safety, IT, security, email and anti-virus policies and equality and fair treatment.
What you need to do it…
- A minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Large ERP project implementation experience
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques along with a background in manufacturing
- SQL and Access creation skills
- Experience of preparing specification for software authoring
- Epicor ERP implementation desired but not essential
- Experienced in use of MES
- First rate communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
