Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Home Based / London (Requirement to travel into the Head Office 3-4 Days Per Month)

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum + Bonus up to 30% of salary + £450/month car allowance

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Manage and drive the identified development customers, driving range and distribution in UK retail customers
  • Support SNAM within the retail channel customer set, driving channel opportunities within UK multiples
  • Identify trading opportunities within other channels not currently covered by the UK sales team
  • Support the field sales agenda by working with Regional Director & SNAM to help key customer communication

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the BCBI agenda and sales growth within Retail customers

  • Build effective relationships within the UK targeted development accounts to grow revenue and new distribution
  • Create sales and marketing presentations for customers, identifying key gaps and opportunities for Bazooka Candy Brands
  • Maintain effective working relationship across all functions within Bazooka Candy Brands
  • Manage monthly forecast in order to deliver results

Grow retail presence through new channels within major multiples

  • Build relationships with the UK retail teams to identify & win business opportunities with the retail landscape, e.g., Travel, Leisure, discounter customers
  • Help develop full retail specific plans to incorporate all channels within the customer

Develop our retail business in Co-op Societies

  • Support the development of our Co-op retail business through the regional societies, building the Head office relationships whilst working closely with the Co-op SNAM to identify opportunities for growth
  • Grow distribution and WOW presence through all regional societies
  • Liaise internally with marketing and operations to support co-ordination of key field sales projects and development – selling stories, POS, etc

Benefits:

  • Bonus – Discretionary Bonus scheme up to 30%.
  • Car Allowance – Car allowance of £ 450 per calendar month, subject to tax and National Insurance
  • Pension – After 6 months’ service eligible to participate in the Company’s defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions:
    • Employer – 4%
    • Employee – 3.2%
    • Tax Relief – 0.8%
    • Total – 8%
  • Medical Cover – Subject to the scheme rules, after 6 months continuous service, you will be covered by Permanent Health Insurance (Death or injury in service), the cost of which will be borne by the Company
