Salary: £23,000 per annum increasing to £25,000 after probation + Commission

The role

Right now, we are looking for another Business Development Manager to strengthen our team In our office in Stockport, 15 minutes away from Manchester. As an BDM at ROI, you will be part of a small sales team where you will have a significant role in the company’s growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, allowing you to fully understand and deliver your role, whilst working independently. Your assignment is to book meetings with potential customers, presenting and selling our product to them face to face. If you are a social, fearless, and driven person that wants to further develop your career in the sales profession, ROI is the right place for you. You will work in a wonderful team with young leaders and managers and get paid according to the market’s best commission model. We value the right candidate highly.

We need a Business Development Manager in the Greater Manchester area, who has an ambitious proactive attitude who can tailor their sales approach and put a marketing solution in place to meet the needs of each individual customer.

We are looking for a confident and knowledgeable person who thrives from finding new business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Proactively sourcing new business in your dedicated territory
  • Finding and following up new leads via our in house system, Social Media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Understanding your customers’ needs face to face and over the telephone to identify the best possible marketing solutions for them
  • Delivering excellent customer service and building rapport with your customers to gain continuous business and referrals
  • Self -planning your days efficiently to enable best use of your time throughout each day
  • Attending team meetings and sales conferences when required to share best practice from your manager and the rest of your team

The Candidate:

  • 1-2years + previous experience working within a B2B Sales environment
  • Highly motivated, target driven individual with strong business acumen
  • The ability to self-generate new business through finding your own leads
  • The confidence to take ownership and propose suitable solutions to our customers
  • The ability to engage and build excellent rapport with your customers face to face and Virtually
