About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, your role will be to lead, support and enable the firm’s financial planners and investment managers in acquiring new clients.
Responsibilities
- Implementing Wealth’s business development strategy
- Increasing introductions and referrals from professional connections including (but not limited to) solicitors, accountants, private bankers, mortgage brokers, insurers and auctioneers
- Helping increase and convert leads from Private Clients
- Helping improve client retention
- Contributing to the evolution of Wealth’s service and product propositions through the provision of market intelligence
- Operating within a compliant framework and adhering to corporate and regulatory behavioural and quality standards
- Working effectively with Marketing to deliver collateral, communications, events and to maximise the benefit to Wealth of other opportunities to exert or enhance its brand
- Working effectively with the Psigma Business Development team to share best practice and manage potential conflicts of interest
Skills & Experience
- Professional competence, credibility, empathy and resilience
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships of trust
- Good understanding of the UK financial planning and advice market, UK investment management market, and the market for legal and accountancy services in the UK
- Ability to engage effectively at every level of businesses, organisations, and associations
- Systematic approach to planning and execution of professional responsibilities
- Strong presentation skills and excellent written and oral communicative ability
- Highly effective in a team environment but with a demonstrable track record as a self-starter
- Committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and ongoing personal development
