Key Accountabilities:
- Owner analyst for the Client Extranet and all client documentation.
- Collect, understand and document the business requirements for change initiatives across the owned, and other business areas.
- Design and document process and data flows
- Translate requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with Project Managers/work stream leads to join up requirements and delivery plans
- Work with IT partners to agree solution designs
- Support test preparation and execution
- Support design and documentation of operational procedures
- Support implementation of change to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved
- Assist troubleshooting of issues
- Act as a mentor to more junior Business Analysts
The Candidate:
Role specific experience
- Experience of working in Life and Pensions, with an understanding of the long-term insurance market
- Experience of working on large scale change programmes with multiple delivery partners
- Experience of working with Agile, with a digital focus, e.g. B2B, B2C portals, extranets
- Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Understanding of the IFA market
- Ability to work directly with developers
- Understanding of JSON and/or XML object models would be helpful
- Some SQL and XML knowledge would be helpful
General experience and personal attributes
- Willing to lead from the front and assist business outside of immediate role responsibilities
