The Company are an IT Managed Services provider based in Richmond, SW London. Along with their sister company, are coming together as part of a new group of companies launching as an exciting new, unified brand, in Autumn 2019. They are the established UK arm of a new, rapidly expanding, pan-European technology company with a high level of focus on customer care and support.
2019 is already shaping up to be a phenomenal year, with a number of new UK/global team hires, refurbishment of their London office, further acquisitions across Western Europe and a US office. If all that weren’t enough, they are aiming for double digit growth too!
The Role:
They need a hard-working and adaptable individual to support the rapidly growing UK business day to day and assisting the executive team. The role does require some travel to their offices near Reading and, very occasionally, to their head office in Dublin, and to other group offices in the Netherlands for learning and team-building visits.
Key Requirements:
- Creating and improving effective, repeatable processes and procedures and automating where possible using Outlook, Excel, SalesForce and other SaaS tools
- Planning and coordinating day to day business functions – for example:
- Arranging all sorts of meetings: internal, customer, suppliers, interviews, etc.
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Organising weekly food orders and other supplies
- Answering all inbound, non-technical support, phone calls, and e-mailing customers and 3rd parties
- Working on a variety of simultaneous projects such as:
- Assisting with the office re-fit in Richmond
- Helping to digitise all paper records across the UK
- Unification of their telephone & mobile supplier(s)
- Organising and co-ordinating the 2019 Christmas party
- Arranging company meetings, management meetings, customer visits, sales trips and team-building exercises
- Managing assets including certifications, partnerships, fixed assets (hardware, including support contracts) and consumables (e.g. print cartridges, paper, office supplies) using their asset management tools
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Deliver operational and administrative support to ensure that nothing is late or forgotten
- Free up the time of the MD and sales team to focus on customer success
- Deliver first class service and support to their customers
- Optimise office/staff costs by completing thorough supplier reviews and selecting the best
- Assume all office admin / office management duties currently shared between their operational team members
