Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice – Level 3

Location: Poole, Dorset

Salary: £13,348 – £23,860 per annum, depending upon age and previous experience

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent

Our business is growing fast, and we need an enthusiastic administration apprentice to join our Company. This is an interesting, varied and busy role for someone keen to learn great transferable skills and work in a friendly environment.

You will be joining our Maintenance Administration team.

We will teach you how to:

  • Place an order
  • Match supplier invoices with goods received notes
  • Source the most affordable materials
  • Maintain the stock and return database
  • Feedback to relevant departments
  • Support the department with general administrative tasks, as required

We need you to be:

  • Keen to learn, interested in the job and committed to the apprenticeship opportunity
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Ability to manage your time and workload
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • High attention to detail

You need to have:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade 5 and above or equivalent, which must include English and Maths.
  • Candidates with A level or equivalent Level 3 qualifications and degree holders who have no previous qualification within this field are also able to apply.
  • Equivalent and alternative qualifications to those listed are also accepted.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good telephone manner and confidence in speaking on the phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
