Job Title: Billing and Operations Analyst
Location: London (SW9 6DE)
Salary: Competitive + bonus
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
A bit about us:
Optimising a 100% renewable energy future is our vision.
Limejump is a technology platform that manages a large renewable energy network. Our portfolio delivers clean energy to businesses and homes, using renewables and stored energy when it’s needed to meet demand.
We connect and manage 100% renewable energy through the intelligent control of renewable generators, such as wind turbines and solar panels. We work closely with renewable asset owners, buying their energy and then selling it onto the UK’s grid, giving them simple access to the power market. But, the sun isn’t always shining and the wind isn’t always blowing. We must therefore capture energy for times when there is high demand. By harnessing big data and renewable technology, we accelerate the UK’s transition to net zero carbon emissions.
The Position:
As our Billing and Operations Analyst, you will own and manage several of Limejump’s billing and data management processes, primarily relating to activity with network operators and regulatory parties, such as Ofgem.
This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work at the heart of UK energy operations and gain exposure to renewable energy market mechanisms. In this role, you would also work closely with Limejump’s in-house Regulatory team, to ensure Limejump is compliant with all industry data requirements.
Our Billing and Operations Analyst will play a key part in our business, ensuring customers are invoiced accurately and on time for their non-commodity revenues, such as the Feed-in-Tariff and Renewable Obligation Certificates, as well overseeing the data quality of our power assets, while providing support on system issues and customer queries for our portfolio of PPA assets.
In this role you will report directly into our Billing and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a strong customer experience for all assets within the Limejump portfolio.
- Liaise with industry counterparties including Ofgem, network operators and metering agents.
- Continuously develop your own understanding of our industry and renewable energy markets
- Manage the quarterly FIT levelisation process.
- Manage Limejump’s ROC and REGO transactions with customers and trading parties in internal and external systems.
- Own the execution of the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT), Renewable Obligation Certificate (ROC) and Renewable Energy Guarantees Origin (REGO) billing process.
- Act as a trusted single point of contact for operational regulatory matters – such as the annual FIT audit and data submissions to regulators.
- Support the wider Finance team with insightful analysis and reconciliations on billing, using platforms/languages such as Python, SQL, Looker and MS Excel.
The Candidate:
Essential Skills:
- Degree-level education, or equivalent experience.
- Quick problem solving, with a drive towards recognising and making improvements.
- High attention to detail and conscientious approach to numbers-driven analysis.
- Good working knowledge and experience with MS Excel.

- Demonstrated desire to own and develop a business-critical process to deliver exceptional outcomes and customer insight.
- An organised and proactive approach to work, with experience of managing multiple deadlines and parallel workstreams.
- A passion for Limejump’s mission, renewable energy markets and UK carbon neutrality targets.
Desirable Skills:
- Basic SQL and/or Python knowledge
- Work experience within the power sector, preferably in a finance or operations team.
