Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Plumstead, South East London
Salary: Scale 3 – £19,558 (Actual gross salary)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (39 weeks per year)

About the role:
As Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to contribute to the daily provision of high quality pastoral care. This includes monitoring standards and patterns of behaviour and discipline, attendance and punctuality. You will need to have a good understanding of the School’s behaviour policy and be able to support staff in implementing this.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the movement of students around the site during lesson times returning students who are absent without permission to classrooms
- Supervise students across the site during lunch time
- Support the operation and monitoring of the Internal Exclusion and Restorative rooms as appropriate
- Support the effective operation of the on-call system to remove students from lessons as necessary
About you:
You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths together with experience of working with children in a pastoral role.
You should also have a commitment to the school’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
