Plumstead Manor is a thriving and popular secondary school located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There has been a school on our site since 1913, with the first 105 years as a girls’ school. In response to local demand we admitted our first mixed cohort in 2018 and will be fully co-educational by September 2022.

About the role:
We are looking for a Basic Skills Coordinator to lead excellence in raising achievement for low attaining and disadvantaged students and developing a high quality inclusion provision. You will work within our ACE unit. This will include identifying the learning needs of specific students, based on the principles of early help, excellence and High achievement, identifying the Learning needs of specific students and putting in place suitable interventions which will be tracked and monitored.
About you:
- You will need to have a HLTA qualification or appropriate equivalent.
- An informed understanding of strategies to improve student progress and performance.
- You should have excellent communication and data management (analysis and target setting) skills.
- You should also have high standards in behaviour for learning.
