Job Title: Bartender

Salary: £10.25 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time. Hours: 30 hours per week.
The Liffey is synonymous with the iconic Grand Central building, and you would have the opportunity to be part of the exciting reopening of one of Liverpool’s iconic grade 2 listed buildings. The Liffey Sports and Social Pub will offer a vibrant, lively and fun environment, with live music, we are looking to create a one-of-a-kind, high end, go to venue in the city centre.

The Role/Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a one of a kind cutting edge venture. We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers who have the ability to multitask.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to customers, balancing the cash register
- Maintaining a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Making a positive impression on each customers’ overall experience by providing world class service
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Previous, experience in a large, lively venue (Desirable)
- Passionate about customer service and being customer focused
- Experience in a busy, fast paced business
- High energy, sociable and outgoing
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
