Job Title: Bartender
Location: Holland Park, London (W11 4JG)
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour – Depending on Experience.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent.
Purpose of Role:
Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drinks. In addition to providing a warm friendly and efficient customer service. The Bartender must be knowledgeable of the cocktail/wine list be able to guide them through drink options/journey. As well as mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to Casa Cruz specifications. The bartender responsibilities can include knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, know how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies.
Main Duties:
- Welcoming guests in a friendly manner & ensuring an exceptional level of service is always maintained to immaculate standard.
- Ensure the restaurant and bar areas are clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as/when required
- Mixing beverages using a wide range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar and fruits
- Be Knowledgeable/make Classic Cocktails
- Taking drinks orders from customers/CDR and serving drinks as requested, paying attention to detail
- Within reason fulfil guests request in a timely fashion
- Be able to guide and advise guests drinks pairing and recommendations
- Ability to be creative with cocktails
- Providing positive friendly guest experience by interacting with guests.
- Be able to take payments
- Monitoring / Maintaining the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other essentials
- Cleaning the bar tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment complying with health and safety regulations
- Using initiative to anticipate any guests causing problems by restricting alcohol intake and refusing service if guest is excessively intoxicated
- Setting up the bar before shift (stock up with ice, cut fruit, fill up juices)
- Clean and polish glasses
- Make and deliver coffee
- Attend training sessions and team meeting as required
