The Job Role:
AV Integration and Installation Programming Engineer
- To take the lead role in creating all control system programming, GUI development, and DSP system design
- To support the engineering and design teams with suitable input to ensure smooth integration of the control software and hardware solutions.
- To take an active role in leading the direction of professional development into other programming languages that new system may require.
- To actively support and assist on site during system commissioning to ensure client satisfaction.
- To actively support the documentation of systems, programming and history revisions.
- To provide site support for programming changes as required by client projects, both installation upgrades and system maintenance support.
Installation Team/Company Support
- To assist the Installations director, design engineer and sales team in the design stage of projects, tasks may include research & development and documentation.
- To input, update and help collate all customer and supplier data using the nominated project management software.
- To undertake supplier training courses on new equipment and systems that may be implemented within installation projects.
The Candidate:
Requirements
- In-depth understanding and experience with a broad range of AV system
- At least 5 years’ experience designing/programming AV projects, with a preference for larger more involved projects.
- Certified to Crestron CTI-201P, preferred 301
- Experience with JSON, C#, CSS, HTML5 desirable
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be comfortable with leading others and client communication.
- Be fluent in modern computing, both hardware and software
- Good ability to use windows-based & Mac applications.
- Use of Microsoft SharePoint
- Audinate Dante certification level 2
- QSYS level 1 & 2
Advantageous

- AMX experience
- IP networking qualification
- Extron system programming
- Yamaha DSP knowledge
- Jet built experience.
