The Role:
University College Birmingham are looking for Registered Nurses, Midwives or Registered Allied Health Professionals with current clinical experience, to join our growing, innovative, and forward– thinking workforce development & apprenticeship team.
We are able to support both individuals with teaching/mentoring experience into Lecturing positions and also those with limited experience who are passionate about education.
You will be working alongside a diverse team with a breadth of knowledge in our new, purpose-built facilities in Moss House and the Health, Skills and Simulation Suite.
The successful applicants will provide specialist input to ensure that nursing and health care knowledge & skills are taught and assessed in line with current evidence-based practice, across the Assistant Practitioner, Nursing degree and Nursing Associate apprenticeship programmes.
Candidate Requirements:
Educated to a minimum of foundation degree level with current registration on the NMC or HCPC, is essential for the associate lecturer role, with experience of teaching and assessing students in clinical practice.
