Salary: FTE annual salary £26,000 – £28,000
Job type: Full Time, Permanent. 34.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday: 10.00h – 18.00h | Friday: 10.00h – 17.30h. Flexibility with regard to working hours. Office based – hybrid working available and to be agreed.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the Enterprises team at the Royal Academy of Dance Headquarters in Battersea, London.
The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations. Located just a short walk from Clapham Junction, with its newly-opened state of the art headquarters, our work takes us, locally and around the world to widen access to dance and to share the benefits and wellbeing that it brings. RAD Enterprises sources and develops physical and digital dance resources, gifts and apparel. It gift aids its profits back into the organisation to support its charitable work.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Trading, you will ensure optimum stock levels are maintained for RAD’s multi-channelled retail arm. You will support the Head of Trading directly to manage the end to end merchandise cycle from sku creation to obsolescence whilst identifying opportunities to optimise profits. You will assist the team with maintaining the website CMS system and retail system. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys visibility of all aspects of retailing.
Candidate Requirements:
As an Assistant Merchandiser you will have:
- Experience at assistant merchandiser level, now looking for more autonomy.
- An ability to interpret data quickly and accurately, making recommendations.
- A proactive approach to managing your workload to meet deadlines.
- A solutions focused approach to work, using your initiative to problem solve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and advanced Excel.
