Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our committed and passionate Clear Voice Team on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will be adaptable and accountable, with the ability to multi-task whilst still delivering high quality outcomes.
The focus of this role is to support the Clear Voice Finance Team and SLT to meet its strategic and business objectives. The post holder will assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, the monthly management accounts pack and various financial performance and forecasting reports. The successful candidate will aid in providing accurate and relevant information to aid in management decision making.

As the Assistant Management Accountant your duties would include:
- Assist in the production of the Management Accounts for the SLT and Board of Trustees
- Ensure Migrant Help policies and operating procedures are followed
- Monthly preparation of income statements, balance sheet and other financial documents
- Assist with forecasting and the annual budgeting process
- Prepare and post all relevant month end journals as well as intercompany journals and reconciliations
- Communicate and interpret financial information to non-financial managers
- Develop and maintain a strong commercial relationship with key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
The experience and skills you need:
- Experience in Management Reporting and Accounting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative to problem solve
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
What else to expect:
- This is a hybrid role with the requirement to come into the Dover office on occasion and therefore flexibility is required
- The Clear Voice team operate between the hours on 9am and 5pm, however on occasion you may need to work outside these hours so flexibility is required
